Stain

STAIN ⋅ BETHAN LAURA WOOD ⋅ 2006

Stain is a set of tea cups that change through time and use. It is known that tea tends to stain cups over time, which for somebody can lead to a decrease in the aesthetic value of the product to even reach disposal of the product. In this case, the stain is designed beforehand and the pattern (coloured by the tea) appears in time, at a speed that is proportional to the use we do of this product.

"This project examines the assumption that use is damaging to a product, for example, scratches on an iPod." Laura Wood
