Roughly Drawn

ROUGHLY DRAWN ⋅ RICHARD LIDDLE ⋅ COHDA ⋅ 2007

Roughly Drawn (RD) is a plastic chair created with recycled plastic. While a filament of material is extruded, the designed manually and randomly rolls it around a wooden shape (a mould), in order to create the final shape. To have a better idea here a nice video of the production process. The main architecture of the chair is therefore always the same, but the density of filament and its distribution is always different and is defined during the creating process.
